DAC supported BoardAgender and HCLI’s launch of report “20 by 2020 : Gender Diversity on Singapore Boards – A Path to Action”

The Diversity Action Committee (DAC) supported the launch of the report “20 by 2020 : Gender Diversity on Singapore Boards – A Path to Action” by BoardAgender and Human Capital Leadership Institute (HCLI). Ms Grace Fu, Minister for Culture, Community and Youth delivered the keynote address.

The report highlights much-needed transformations in board processes that are required to advance the diversity agenda. Based on 41 in-depth interviews carried out with stakeholders from representative groups of companies of different industries and market, the study also suggests strategies that aspiring female directors can undertake to enhance the odds of their nomination and subsequent selection. The report was funded by Accenture, ADP, Goldman Sachs, Singtel and TAFEP, and supported by Banyan Tree Holdings, KPMG, Shell and the Diversity Action Committee.
